GRADE LEVEL PROCEDURES
 
 
GENERAL RULES
Community Rules
1.    Be responsible: Follow directions, stay on task, and be on time.
2.    Come to class prepared: bring required class materials, bring homework, be ready to learn 
3.    Always show respect to others: Be nice, (we are bully free), raise hand to speak, listen when others are speaking.
4.    Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself
Discipline Plan
Students will be given warnings and teacher documentations per the discretion of the teacher. Five teacher documentations will result in an administrative write-up. All teacher docs will be recorded into Infinite Campus as parent contact. Parents will be contacted if signed teacher doc. is not returned.
Parent Communication
*24 hour return contact for one-on-one communication*
Documentation will be kept in Infinite Campus
Field Trip Policy
According to Site Base Policy
Lost & Found
Each teacher/team will designate a lost and found area.
Student Team Meetings
Scheduled as needed.
 
HALLWAY PROCEDURES
6th Lockers (when & how to use)
Locker Break 1: When arriving at school students must get materials for blocks 1, 2, and 3.
Locker Break 2: Students will go to locker before and after Encore.
Locker Break 3: End of Day - students will be dismissed by waves to pack up to go home.
7th Lockers (when & how to use)
Locker Break 1: When arriving at school students must get materials for blocks 1, 2, and 3.
Locker Break 2: After 3rd block students must get materials for the remainder of the day except students with 7th period Encore.
Locker Break 3: End of Day
Social Studies & Language Arts - students will be dismissed by waves to pack up to go home.
Science & Math – Students will get all materials to go home prior to Encore and take with them to class.

 
Entering team area at beginning of day
(restroom and lockers)
Students should go to lockers immediately upon entering the team area; report to first block after getting materials.
Absent Notes/Bus Notes: Students needing an absent note or bus note must go to the front lobby (bus notes) or main office (absent notes) immediately upon entering the building.
Breakfast: Students are to go directly to breakfast before entering the team area.
Restroom/Drinks: Students who need to use the restroom or water fountain should sign out on the agenda and sign out sheet in the first block class. Restroom Passes must be taken to RR.
Leaving team area to go home
Students will be dismissed by waves to pack up to go home then return to their last block class until their dismissal wave is called. Students staying after school must have an activity/club/sport pass and will be dismissed with 3rd wave.
Restroom & Drinks
Student must complete his/her Agenda and have it signed by the teacher.  The student then must complete the sign out sheet. Restroom Pass must be taken to the RR.
Lunch - to and from
Going to Lunch: Students are to line up at the teacher’s request. Students are to walk quietly and in single file to the cafeteria.
Classes will either go directly into the lunch line or be seated in the cafeteria at their assigned tables. 
Returning from Lunch: Students are to wait for their teacher to leave the cafeteria.
Class to Class transitions
Students are to leave quietly and head directly to their next class. Students are then to line up in the teacher designated area.

Absent Notes
 
 
Absent notes should be obtained in the main office upon entering the building.
It is the student’s responsibility to get any and all missed work.
Bus Notes
Students are to obtain bus notes in the lobby when entering the building, prior to entering the team area.
Agenda Book
 
Students need to copy the information exactly as written from the class agenda into their personal agenda; each day for all classes.
Emergency Illness
Exit room as quickly as possible. Another student or teacher will be sent to check on you.
Hall Passes
Signed agenda and/or restroom pass.
Absent Work
It is the student’s responsibility to get any and all missed work. Students should check with teachers to obtain make up assignments. Students will have as many days to make up the work as days they were absent. Work not completed by that time can be completed following the guidelines for Missed or Late Work.
Missed or Late Work
 
This work can be made up in any of the following ways: Wednesday school or school detentions. Students may earn up to 80% credit on missing assignments. It is the student’s responsibility to make arrangements to make up work and obtain all the necessary materials.
Unexcused Absent Work
This work can be made up in any of the following ways: Wednesday school or after school detentions. Students may earn up to 80% credit on missing assignments. It is the student’s responsibility to make arrangements to make up work and obtain all the necessary materials.
