Campbell County JV Academic Team Wins JV Challenge Championship!

The pandemic has affected so many school activities this year. The Campbell County High School Academic Team has also been greatly affected, with most practices and matches taking place virtually with team members competing from home. Recently, however, the JV Academic Team won the Championship of their sectional in the JV Challenge Tournament, competing with Highlands, Brossart and Pendleton County. Each team participated virtually from their own school, following all health protocols. The quick recall team took first place, winning all three matches, led by sophomores Ethan Taylor (captain), Dylan Moorsman and Emilie Zengel. In written assessments, six different CCHS team members placed, with Ethan Taylor taking 1st Place in Science and Sophie Jones winning 1st in Composition.
