The Campbell County JV Academic Team won 1st place of their section of the JV Challenge Tournament, held at CCHS on November 6th. Other schools in their section included Highlands, Bishop Brossart, and Mason County. The Camels were particularly impressive in written assessments, with Jada Coleman placing 1st in both Social Studies and Arts & Humanities, Rileigh Sherman placing 1st in Language Arts, with the 10th highest score in the state, and Cade Beaupre taking 1st place in Science, placing in the top 15 statewide.
The Quick Recall Team, led by Captain Alex Randall, battled a strong Highlands team for 1st place, with the teams splitting their first two matches before Highlands prevailed in the last questions of the final match.
