National School Bus Safety Week is an active and evolving public education program and an excellent way for parents, students, teachers, motorists, school bus operators, school administrators, and other interested parties to join forces and address the importance of school bus safety. Designed to promote school bus safety, school districts throughout the country observe School Bus Safety Week.
Many Campbell County School Students participated in the National School Bus Safety Poster Contest. Each year students create posters with a common theme; this year’s theme was “My School Bus, The Safest Form of Student Transportation!” After being judged by the Transportation department staff, we have 2 District winners that will be judged at the Kentucky State competition in June 2018. They are Reiley Elementary students Jamie Murray and Jadyen Brockert. Congratulations to both of them.
Special thanks to teacher Lederrick Wesley for his help in promoting the contest.
