It is time for another exciting school year!  Although summer always seems to be short, we are ready to go with a new year of learning at Reiley.  Our focus each year is for each student to grow and reach their full potential as a well-rounded child.    We believe you must build a relationship before teaching.  We hope students will learn that "Kindness is Contagious."  We believe if students are given the tools for success they will be ready to reach the goals they set in life.  We want them to be lifelong learners and always seek new knowledge.

The first several weeks we will be focus strongly on procedures and relationships at Reiley.  We use the CHAMPS program here and our expectations are based off the Reiley Guidelines for Success:

Respect Yourself and Others
Engaged in Learning
Increase Your Knowledge
Look, Listen, and Learn
Effort Leads to Success
You are Responsible for Yourself and Your Actions

We will be using Class Dojo for our behavior reinforcement system and communication.  We look forward to getting to know your children better and to ensure this is a very successful experience for all.

Please make sure you read the Parent/Student Handbook thoroughly and review it with your child.  A hard copy is available from the office.  The handbook is located on our website.  Most of our communication is through the use of technology.  Your email address must be current in Infinite Campus to receive our messages.  The August Roadrunner Report will be the only copy of the report to be sent home.  Future copies will be emailed through IC and placed on the school website.   This includes menus, Counselor’s Corner, and FRC newsletters as well.  Check out our website to stay current.

Stay current by liking our Facebook page (Reiley Elementary School) or following us on Twitter (@RESRocks).

Reiley Rocks,

Susan Rath
