Hi, I just wanted to let all of you know how excited I am to be a part of the Campbell County family. I can not wait to see what the school year holds for my students as well as for our school. I thought I would take a few moments to introduce myself. I am Kelli Patterson, and I have just transferred to CCSD from another district in Norther Kentucky. My husband, daughter, and I live here in Alexandria, and it means a lot to me to teach here. I love our community, and I love our school district. My daughter Shelby is 13, and she is a seventh grader here at CCMS. I am married to my husband Mark who is a retired Air Force Veteran as well as a Computer Systems supervisor at Cincinnati Children's hospital. Once he retired from the Air Force, we decided to move closer to our family and make Northern Kentucky our home. I am so glad we did! I have begun my 25th year teaching--20 of those years have been high school English, including Advanced Placement and dual enrollment English Composition with Troy State University and Weber State University. For the last five years, I have taught on the middle school level. I feel very blessed to be in a profession that I love and feel is worthwhile. At least, I hope I am making a positive impact. This year, I am teaching 8th grade Language Arts. I love my students, and I love my team of colleagues. I truly am thrilled to be a part of the Camel family. Go, Purple!!
