Industrial Revolution WebQuest
Introduction
Have you ever wondered who started the Industrial Revolution? Just where did it begin?  Did it begin in the United States? Wouldn't you really like to know?  Wouldn't you like to see some of the inventions?  Perhaps this would be a good time to put on your Sherlock Holmes hat and begin some detective work of your own. You may even want to bring your sidekick Watson along.   This web page is designed to answer some of your questions through the use of technology. You may use this WebQuest to gather information about the Industrial Revolution.

Task
Your task, my dear Sherlock and your man Watson, should you decide to bring him along with you, will be to discover:
What country began the Industrial Revolution?  Who were the first inventors?  What were their inventions?  How did their inventions change the way people did things?  Were the changes for the better?  If not, what were some of the problems?  How was society changed by each invention?
