Introduction
You
are a top newspaper reporter and archaeologists have just discovered more
information on famous Hebrew leaders. As reporters, your group has
been hired to write and publish a newspaper on these finds.
Each member of the group
will be responsible for publishing an article on one of the famous Hebrews.
You also must pick an editor to cut and paste the articles into a newspaper.
Remember you only have the next 75 minutes to meet your deadline!
The Task
Every
person in your group should choose a famous Hebrew leader. The choices
are:
Abraham
Moses
King Saul
King David
King Solomon
Each person will then read the new found information about their character and write a newspaper article about them.
Process
Step 1:
Click on and read the attached rubric so you will know how you will be
scored.
Step 2: Read the web site on your character below. (See Resources)
Step 3: Take any notes from the web site that you think will be useful in writing your article.
Step 4: Fill in your graphic organizer. Pick three major topics about your character and include 3 supporting details for each.
Step 5: Write an article on the character you choose. The article should be at least three paragraphs long.
Step 6: When you have finished writing your article follow the directions below:
Step 7: Save yourarticle and check with Miss Kearns to be sure there are no mistakes.
Step 8: Take
your disk to your editor and cut and paste the articles into
one newspaper.
Step 9: Name your newspaper.
Step 10: SAVE AGAIN!
Step 11: PRINT
