Greetings expert science students! The first grade teachers have informed me that they are getting prepared to start a unit on Rocks and Minerals. They found out that we have a number of "Expert Rocks and Minerals Students" here in the 3rd grade and they wanted our help. We have learned a great deal of information about Rocks, and I knew you would be anxious to help.
TASK

expert rock and mineral students you will be using the internet resources
below to gather information for the 1st grade students. You will
be following the research below to complete the note sheet you have been
given. With the information you gather on your note sheet you will
then create a lesson for the 1st grade students. You and your partner
will have a choice of lessons you will create. You may:
