INTRODUCTION:
Congratulations! You are headed to the big leagues. Yes, that’s right all the hard work and dedication to your batting practice has paid off. You have been selected to help your team out of a hitting slump!! That’s right champ! They’re counting on you!
THE TASK:
Your skills are needed as a fast pitch hitter against one on the best pitcher in the league. You most correctly answer the math facts to score runs for you team.
PROCESS:
You will need to answer the math fact question by clicking
on the box and typing in the correct answer. After you have done this,
click on the box "play ball" to see if you were able
to score a run for your team. It's the bottom of the eighth and you only
have ten minutes to help your team win.
RESOURCES:
You will need your batting average score sheet. Use your score sheet to take some practice swings.

EVALUATION:
Keep your track of all of the runs that you score, your teacher will want to know just how many runs you were able to score. Write your score down on your batting average score sheet and turn it in to your teacher.
