Kentucky State Testing Information
State required testing for students has changed! Click here for information on what this means for our children.

Education Commissioner Terry Holliday created a video presentation to highlight the new testing system known as K-PREP.


Handouts show grade level achievement
Parents can view grade-level achievement expectations in terms of MAP scores as well view College and Career Readiness Benchmarks for appropriate grade levels with the Academic Success Timeline which can be view electronically or in hard copies. Anyone interested in receiving a printed version should ask their child's teacher during the upcoming parent/teacher conferences.

Kentucky Center for Safe Schools
The mission and scope of work for the Kentucky Center for School Safety (KCSS) demanded that a statewide collaborative effort be undertaken. This collaborative partnership brings together a dynamic blend of experience and expertise in project management and the provision of training and technical assistance to education, human service and justice professionals, teacher preparation, applied research, electronic communication, and school and community needs assessment.

Info available on new common core standards
Activation codes may be obtained from your child's school.  To obtain the needed code, you need to report to your child's school with identity verification and sign for the code.
 
The National PTA has created Parents' Guide to Student Success brochures which can be found here. These grade-level guides will be helpful to parents in understanding the new standards and how to help their children be successful. 

The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce created a video presentation on the new Common Core Standards and the important role businesses can play in the education process. The video can be found in the lower left corner of teh Chamber's homepage.

Campbell County Schools uses School Messenger for our automated calling system for announcements and emergency calls. In order to change or delete a phone number in the system please contact your school as this information is updated through Infinite Campus. School Messenger is updated automatically every evening from the information in Infinite Campus.  If you would like to also be emailed the announcement or emergency call, please contact your school and have your email address also placed into Infinite Campus.
