Are you interested in computers and the newest gadgets? Do you want to learn more about the ever-changing tech industry? Campbell County ATC Information Technology Class could be a good fit for you. IT students learn computer repair and networking.

Classes emphasize the hardware and software aspects of computer systems and the management of computer networks. We will also be investigating Python Programming.

Students design and set up computer networks In both Packet Tracer and with actual Cisco routers and switches.

These skills prepare you to pursue IT positions as a network technician/ computer technician. The class gives the student a strong foundational knowledge for their CIT education at either NKU or Gateway.  

 Let us pay for your first certification. This year we offer Microsoft Network Fundamentals Certification. This certification measures the student's networking knowledge. The certification can be presented to perspective employers or used as a stepping stone for higher education

Last year we had 26 students earn their Comptia STRATA National Certification

Combine this certification with our Gateway articulation agreement and you are on the path to success. Both are a great way to start your career and post-secondary education.

Potential career opportunities: include positions in computer repair and network administration. 

Career forecast: The Department of Labor projects 20 percent industry growth for computer network, systems between 2008 and 2018.
